Alumni Stories
Oscar Cabrera
Class of 1994
Oscar is no doubt Franklin's all around best athlete ever! Not much arguing here from any athlete past or present. Franklin retired his Baseball jersey in 2010.
Baseball, Football and Basketball led Oscar to go to UCLA where he started in Football on the front line for the Bruins in a rose bowl. Oscar is also known to have hit the longest Home run at Franklin's Baseball field as he hit the famous Yellow House in dead center field. 1992 and 1994 led Franklin Baseball to Dodger Stadium winning in 1994. Oscar has been a champion on many fronts and has fought many battles internally to overcome. Indeed Oscar Cabrera a gifted athlete and a gifted person.
