Graduated U.S. Naval Academy 1997
Submarine nuclear power training pipeline then served on 4 boats:
- Junior officer USS LOUISIANA (GOLD)(SSBN 743) in Kings Bay, GA
- Department Head (Navigator) USS COLUMBIA (SSN 771) in Pearl Harbor, HI
- Executive Officer USS OHIO (BLUE)(SSGN 726) in Bangor, WA
- Commanding Officer USS COTY OF CORPUS CHRISTI (SSN 705) in Bremerton, WA
Several shore tours including the Pentagon, COMSUBLANT in Norfolk, US Strategic Command in Omaha, NE, Submarine Squadron 15 in Guam, and currently back in Hawaii at COMSUBPAC.

Currently a Gunnery Sergeant. Served with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines from 1996-2000. From 2000-2004 served as a Combat Instructor at the School of Infantry. 2004-2005 was with 2nd Battalion, 10th Marines and deployed to Iraq and fought in Operation Phantam Fury, Fallujah. 2005-2007 served with 1st Battalion, 8th Marines, and from 2007 to present is at School of Infantry as a Combat Instructor Trainer.
