About Me	Lots! I worked in banking in Lexington after a year of Grad School. Then in 1982, I moved to Houston, TX. and worked in a bank there. I was finally able to use my education degree by finding a career in corporate training. I trained tellers, new account reps, etc. My sister and other Kentuckians were homesick and decided to have a Derby party. It seems that there were quite a few people from Kentucky living in Houston...and I met a guy from Louisville that I ended up marrying in 1986! I continued my Human Resources and Training career with a national child care company that moved us to Dallas. After living in Houston 8 years, I then lived in Plano, outside of Dallas, for 11 years. During that time many changes occurred. I began working for JCPenney in the Insurance and Direct Marketing division in the training department and after 4 years, became the Manager of the department. In 1996, a miracle happened, and my husband Mike and I were given custody of a beautiful baby boy, 13 months old. (Who is now 16, taller than me and eats us out of house and home!) In 2001, we moved back to Houston for Mike's work, and we now live in a great little suburb, Katy. After not working for quite a while and being the stereotypical PTA Mom, I went back to work. First, I worked in retail and now I'm back in Human Resources at a center for abused and neglected teens, ages 12-17. It's a very rewarding job.
