About	Born in Eureka CA, 2/14/1953 and graduated from Fortuna Union High School in 1971, David was a loving Son, Brother, Father. He had lived in Christmas Valley for the past 10 years, doing construction and concrete work.Chances are if it's a slab he laid it!!! David served as Jr. Governor of the Moose until his illness overcame him. David battled cancer for the last five years and entered Eternal Peace 5/6/2010 in Christmas Valley, Oregon, where he has touched many hearts. David leaves behind with Love his soul mate Sue Pettijohn, daughter, Heather Smith of Bend, Oregon, mother, Donna Philips of Santa Rosa, California sister, Cheryl Rydquist (David) of Placerville, California, twin brother, Dennis Smith of Santa Rosa California, brother, Jared Smith (Karen) of Christmas Valley, Oregon, many nieces & nephews, and good friends in the Christmas Valley Area.
