Assigned to 1st platoon, 502nd Military Police Company, 1st "Tiger" Brigade, 2nd Armored Division. Attached to the 2nd Marine Division. Conducted garrison and combat duties. Earned the Purple Heart Medal for wounds received in combat and the Bronze Star Medal with "Valor" device for extraordinary heroism in ground combat during the Gulf War.
