Favorite School Memory	Anything to do with Band and ROTC. Our band trip to New York was soooooo fun. Our military balls were the best.
About Me	Married Brian Sommers (FWB grad 1990). Moved for the military to Offutt AFB, NE for 12 years. Moved to Keesler AFB, MS for 6 months. Then had to move again to here at Lackland for the past year. We only have 2 years left here and hope to go to Tinker AFB, OK. In that time we had 3 beautiful and intelligent girls. Bought 2 race cars and went to races all over the US. We also because 1 Lt. in the Civil Air Patrol. Brian is the Aerospace Education and Rocket Program Officer. I am the Ad.Min., Personnel, Plans and Programs, and Cadet Programs Officer. Our oldest Katherine has been driving cars since she was 8 and now she is 13. She has taken a break so she can transition to high school next year. Our middle daughter Christina started driving when she turned 8. She is now 10. She is an A B honor roll student and has been since she started school. She played basketball and volleyball for NYS here. She is a junior Girl Scout this year. She is going for her Bronze Award this year along with her Religious Education Medal. She received her First Communion just last year. Katherine was on her middle school volleyball team this year. She is trying out for high school in the fall. She went to her drill comp. for Civil Air Patrol in Feb. where she was the star volleyball player from any team. They took 2nd over all. This was the first time they had a drill team at Wing so 2nd isn't that bad. She is on the National Junior Honor Society (an officer) and yearbook staff. She is a member of the Civil Air Patrol here at Lackland AFB. She will be going for her pilots license when she turns 16 so she is taking ground classes now so that doesn't slow her down to get straight to flying. She just had her Confirmation ending of Feb. Brianna (4) is starting to play volleyball. I've been training her a little while and she is starting to get it. Yeah, she's 4! She is still small so she doesn't do very much but she does keep me busy. Brian and I teach volleyball. I took on the task of teaching it to the drill team for comp. They had never played before. They were comp. ready when they went. I am very proud. We have been teaching volleyball for 3 years now. I am still a choreographer for cheerleading but took a break when the girls decided to take a break from cheerleading to do other sports. I am still a Girl Scout leader for juniors and cadettes. I am also a Religious Education Medal instructor. With our racing fundraising we have been working with Humane Societies all over. This is a cause the kids took on and then added us into the mix. They are very energetic and intelligent. They keep us busy all the time. They are my full time job. Racing is just a hobby compared to that. That&#...(read more)
