About Me	First assignment right out of Airborne School was 307th Medical Battalion (Alpha Animal) 1984, but went to the 1/325 AIR (Red Falcon) at end of 1984 or beginning 1985 and was B Company medic with 3rd Herd (PLT) till I PCSed to Germany in Oct or Nov 1987. I was in 47th FSB and PCSed Jul 1990. I was assigned to 3/504th PIR in Jul 1990 and was Medic with A Company. Served as a "Blue Devil" for five years and PCSed to Fort Sam Houston, TX, July of 1995. Assigned to F Co.(Abn), Academy Battalion (SOMED) till they shut up shop and moved to Bragg. I went to the Joint Medical Readiness Training Center (JMRTC), C-4 course and was a part of the organization as it changed to the Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute (DMRTI). During my time at JMRTC?DMRTI I was attached to 4th Recon out of the Navy Dep, as a Jumpmaster, HRSTM, and Medic (Corpsman). PCSed to Korea to 52nd Medical Battalion, 570th Company. Medically evacuated out of Korea, after 10 months. Was in Med Hold, BAMC for approximately 8 months. Finally got orders assigned to 232d Med Bn and further assigned to Department of Combat Medic Training. I worked and assisted in the transforming the Medic program to 91W and eventually 68W. Retired in Jul 2004. Currently working for Uncle Sam. Operations and Security Specialist for Army Support Activity (ASA), Fort Sam Houston, TX. I work directly with the only other Military Honors Platoon outside of the Old Guard. 11B are assigned for 18 to 24 months to provide Military Honors for Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery and Houston National Cemetery and provied coverage for 58 counties in the Southcentral Texas.
