About Me	After high school graduation I attended Wlliam Jewell College on a baseball and basketball scholarship along with my bud Terry Berrier. Terry was drafted into the Army what would have been his sophomore year in college. I transferred to Central Missouri after a sports ending injury. I majored in Education but fell in love with a summer job my Senior year. I worked as a retail auto salesman in Buckner for 4 years. Then a fellow salesman and I left Buckner. We bought property on Noland Road and 24 Hwy and opened a used and new dealership across the street from William Chrisman High School. We also opened up a rental car facility next to the auto dealership. We operated it for 14 years and I sold my half back to my partner. I returned back to Buckner which is known as Matt Ford. I spent 27 years with this family owned store and sold new, used, and was the fleet consultant until my retirement in 2015. I about lost my mind being idle so I started substituting classes in the Fort Osage system. For several years my wife Sandi and I rock and rolled danced nearly every weekend in various clubs in Kansas and Missouri. We also added several warm sand trips to Cancun, Cozumel, Virgin Islands, and Hawaii. I am a Certified Licensed Scuba Diver so that fit in the trips. Sandi did the snorkleling...(read more)
