FORT LEE – Louis Yocovelli, a borough Police Department detective, died Wednesday, July 28. He was 55. Mr. Yocovelli was born in Englewood.
He was in the navy during Viet Nam and was an honorary member of the borough’s Fire Department No. 3, a member of V.F.W Cariola Barber Post No. 2342 and a Eucharistic Minister for Madonna R.C. Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rita (nee: Gomez), son, Jason and daughter, Sandra.
His parents, John and Louise Yocovelli and brother, John Yocovelli III, predeceased him.
