About	Kathy left FKHS prior to her senior year when her father was transferred to Texas Passed away on June 4, 2012. Born in 1949 in Japan, Kathy was proud to be raised in an Army family. Since 1969, she lived in Northern Virginia and is survived by her husband Ervin (Butch) Holloway, their son Ryan Holloway and his wife Emily of Alexandria, Va. She is also survived by her sister Karen Grunewald and brothers, Colonel (Retired) Kirk Bergner, and Major General (Retired) Kevin Bergner. She was adored by both family and friends and was lovingly called "Auntie Kaka." Kathy worked along side her husband in a business they began in 1977, Associated Abstract, Inc. She was an avid gardener and widely regarded for her decorator's eye. She and Butch shared a wonderful passion for finding and restoring unique furniture. Kathy also was a top bowler and participated in many leagues in Fairfax County. She was generous to all and her home was the favorite gathering place for family and friends. One of the brightest lights on this earth has now become a star in the heavens. We will miss her beautiful face, her spunk, and her amazing spirit. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
