Joined Reserves (Army) in 1982 in Lubbock, texas. After several years of taveling 110 miles one way to drills, I was traveling over 800 miles round trip to units for mo. drill weekends. That meant I worked 5 days, 2 days of travel & drill weekend, + 5 more regular job work days before I had a day off.
