Favorite School Memory	Protesting against the war in Vietnam. (My picture is not in the 1973 yearbook because I thought that having it there was supporting "the system" that was making war --- what a nut I was!)
About Me	I lived in a hippie commune in Madison. I worked as a Union Organizer in Boston. I got a PhD at Cornell and met my wife there --- she took me with her back to Brazil where I taught at a University (UNICAMP) for two years and learned Portuguese. After, we moved to New Jersey where I worked at Bell Labs for many years. Our daughter Julia was born in 1992. We moved to England in 2003, I'm currently a fellow of King's College at the University of Cambridge! I'm a well known researcher in my field. But I've never learned how to spell properly.
