About Me	Grew up in the country (Hillsboro, MS), the youngest of 4 children, milking/feeding cows, hauling hay, gardening, shoveling manure, riding horses, shooting snakes/turtles, robbing huge wasp nests in trees. Early on I realized I enjoyed music, sports, senior adults, and church-related activiites. From the time I can remember my heart has bent toward God...wanting to know Him and wanting to please Him. At the age of 20 I made a definitive, life-changing commitment of my life to Jesus Christ. I immediately knew I was forgiven of my sins; I had a hunger for God and His Word which before I had never experienced. I knew that although struggles I was facing even at that moment would not necessarily disappear, I had a wonderful assurance that God was with me and for me and was/is worthy to be trusted. Today I still struggle with the vicissitudes of life; and by His Holy Spirit, God is still with me and for me. He still forgives me; He still directs me; He still bears my burdens and hears the cries of my heart; He still cares; He still walks with me and diligently works alongside me and within me to make my life complete...by His grace, working in me to produce a life that brings increasing glory to Him. I must press on! I must walk in His might and power. I must yield to Him. I must put to death the desires of the flesh that war against His will for me. I must overcome! Jesus in me is my Overcomer! Only by His great grace, Divine power, and saving faith which He deposited in me will I one day stand before Him and hear Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant." In my heavenly imagination, next to being forever in the presence of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and forever delighting in and enjoying Him, nothing will thrill me more than to see lives that have intersected mine and that mine have intersected that will also be in the Presence of this same great and mightY Savior Jesus Christ.
