Noche de Orgullo Latino/Latino Culture Celebration

The event will be honoring one of the founders of the Hispanic Honor Society at Foreman and also inducting the new members. We will be enjoying the voice of Peruvian tenor Luis Antonio Galvez-Alcantara and the company of other community representatives and scholars.
We will be hosting the Latino Culture Celebration and Art Silent Auction on June 6, 2013. This is a formal event in which we will be celebrating and sharing the cultural heritage and achievements of our Latino students at Edwin G. Foreman High School. This event is a collaborative effort of various educators at our school with the purpose of improving the perception of our Latino and African American students within the community and to provide continued support to the Hispanic Honor Society members. The event will be hosted at Edwin G. Foreman High School on June 6, 2013. Doors open at 5:30pm. We will have live music, tapas and beautiful student produced art.
