I hope everybody is doing well as summer 2025 kicks in.
Last year at our September "Evening with Class of 67" dinner we discussed a number of possibilities for this year's
get together. We carefully considered our options for this year and decided that we need to do
something different.
Our 2025 get together will be the same weekend as the Dearborn Homecoming. So on Friday
August 1st we have a reservation at a location many of you know as "The Loop".
That's right. Our choice is the Parr recreation area on Edward Hines Drive right off of Ann Arbor Trail.
There is no charge for this "reunion" (although contributions to cover the cost will be accepted). There will
be no food unless you bring it. No open bar, so you should plan on quenching your own thirst. Just like
the old days.
We plan to occupy the area from noon until 8:00 PM.
The picnic pavillion has electricity. There is a restroom. We can get home before the Street lights come on.
We don't have to give a headcount prior to the event, so reservations are unnecessary. All we want you to do
is contact everyone you know and make arrangements to be there.
Not everyone used to go to "the Loop", so here's the directions:
From Telegraph Rd head West on Ann Arbor Trail for about 200 feet. Turn left (South) onto the drive down towards
Edward Hines Drive. Look to your right... you're there.
So instead an evening withe the Class of '67 it will be an afternoon with Class of '67. Anybody who went to Fordson in the sixties is welcome.
Friday August 1st is the start of Dearborn Homecoming. If anyone doesn't want to spend all day with us it's
just a few miles down the road.
