About | Our family would like you to share time with us and say goodbye to our brilliant, loving and caring Dad, Husband, and Grandpa: Jerry Mannarino on September 27, 2025 . He left a lasting legacy in our hearts! Jerry passed away in Vermont while visiting one of our Sons Gabriel, (Holly., Molly and Mindy). He needed to get a filling at Gabe's office! He passed away suddenly at 2 am (probably from a heart attack or aneurysm). I believe, he was very tired of his plague of colorectal cancer and he was ready! So many occasions in the past two weeks got him and others ready for his exit from His adventure with cancer. Every thing seemed to fall into place, From dinners with friends, inviting me to listen to his seminar at Kenwal, visiting family, feeding the giraffes at the zoo, (a gift from David, Kate And Maya), going to Disney On Ice with Dave , Kate and Maya and especially to talking to Jesus and his mother, Mary with Jan. He was so proud of our boys and granddaughters! His true prayer was that he would be taken to see his family members in heaven and not have pain. His prayers were answered at 2:15 am in our room. Our son Gabriel and family, who live in Vermont, were startled as was David (who was in Michigan) were both notified by police banging on their door and ringing their doorbell, to call their mom for a medical emergency. It was a shock because We all went to dinner and had a great visit that night. Jerry felt good. Suddenly he gently collapsed and God said to Jerry, " Guess what Beastie Jerry, I need a genius metallurgist in heaven. Someone who is ready to leave Earth and who is familiar with steel making processes, chemistry, coils, dies, and can teach in story form to sales, the mill, and claims department. Someone who can teach about dies and welds in a manner that is easy to understand for people not trained in much chemistry ! Oh by the way, this person also needs to have a background as a helpful, caring, father who taught their sons work ethics, ie: "work is holy, work is fun, there is work for everyone!" Or "what makes you laugh, makes you cry"! A person that shared his love is ways that benefitted their lives, such as get a brokerage account, set up a dividend paying stock and watch it grow and wait! Encouraging reading about everything from past and present concerning finances, history, news or about ways to carry on a conversation with thoughts about everything but sports. Someone who raised two very successful sons, protected and provided for family, enjoyed family trips but mostly taking time with grandchildren, family and friends, co workers and strangers! Someone who would randomly see a family having dinner and paying for their bill! Or taking extensive family trips! Teaching neighbors how to cook, make limoncello, Stratracello soup, puntenese sauce. As well as, How metallurgy is so important to us or how DNP dividend works and why!! To teach about taking your families to church and care for eachother. This is an opportunity for you, Jerry to come with me! There is no need to pay, you already did living on Earth! Your guardian angel and Blessed Virgin with Padre Pio will lead you through the gates to be in heavenly bliss. And Jerry smiled and said, Ok, Beastie! Jerry was cremated today. I asked for him to please send me a sign that he-is ok in heaven! On my screen I usually see my children, but today there was a different one that just popped up and at the top of the page it said "waiting"? It was a picture of Jerry and me on my birthday at the Gandy Dancer in Ann Arbor. I never touched anything on my phone just opened then after a few minutes it disappeared as suddenly as it appeared ???????? It was a heartwarming answer from him to me. And now in heaven, he is " partying it up like rockstars." ( Molly, Mindy And Maya) To celebrate Jerry's time with us on Earth and to pray for him in heaven, a mass will be held in his honor at: St Patrick Catholic Church in Brighton, (711 Rickett Rd.), on October 10, 2025 at 2 pm. Showing is between 12:30 -2:00 pm Borek Jennings - Funeral home in Brighton is where you can get information. Love, Jan (Fiedor) Mannarino |

Sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I haven't seen him since High School, but I knew him fairly well in the Fordson Days. He was a very nice guy with a great sense of humor.
My sympathies to Jan and the family. May Jerry rest in peace with the Lord.
