It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Donna Jean Loschiavo on August 24, 2025, at the age of 74, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
Born on September 16, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, to Peter and Doris Rebel, Donna was raised in Dearborn and graduated from Fordson High School. It was in Dearborn where she met the love of her life, Ronald Loschiavo, in the most unexpected of places—a gas station. Ron quickly won over her parents, and together, they built a beautiful life and a strong, loving marriage that lasted 56 years.

Donna was a devoted wife, a proud mother, a cherished grandmother, and a beloved great-grandmother. She leaves behind her loving husband Ronald; her sons Michael (Kimberly) Loschiavo and Larry (Candy) Loschiavo; her treasured grandchildren Jillian (Matthew) Worton, Melissa Mulka, Mandy (Justin) Samland, and Mariah (Kaine) McPherson; and her adored great-grandchildren Veatrice Worton, Jordyn, Kambri, Attillia, Max, Melody, Colton, and Bennett. She is also survived by her dear sister Beverly (Jamie) Finlayson.

Family was the heart of Donna’s world. She never missed a game, a graduation, or a milestone, always showing up with pride and joy for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She delighted in cheering them on and capturing countless memories through the lens of her ever-present camera.

A creative soul, Donna enjoyed working with ceramics and stained glass, hobbies that brought beauty and joy into the lives of others. She had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved dog, Peaches. Her kindness, strength, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her—she truly did not have a mean bone in her body.

Donna’s legacy is one of unconditional love, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. She will be deeply missed, yet her warmth and memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a funeral service at 6:00 p.m., at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Livonia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Michigan Humane Society in Donna’s honor.
