About	Gillespie, Victoria Lee. May 25, 2021. Age 66 of Taylor. Beloved sister of Denise (Bob) Jeffries, Steven Gillespie, Christopher (Monica) Gillespie, and Kathleen (Randy) Valenta. Loving aunt of David, Kristen, Michael, Jason, Jennifer, Jessica, Matthew, Katherine, Danielle, and John. Caring friend of many. Victoria was preceded in death by her parents Victor Gillespie and Margaret Davey, her brothers Michael and David Gillespie, and her nephew John Robert Jeffries. Victoria was a dedicated member of AA for over 35 years and it was an integral part of her life that she was very proud of. Victoria offered support to hundreds of women through her work with The Living the principles Program as a sobriety coach and mentor. She also worked by providing safe and nurturing homes for women in recovery through The Stepping Stone House Program. As a sober woman, she offered her knowledge of the AA program through sponsorship. Her love of sobriety shone as a beacon of hope for many in early recovery. Vicki was always reaching out to the newcomer, introducing herself, and inviting them to join her table. Her presence at the tables will always be felt through the lives she has touched and their continuing work in the program. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Memorial visitation Friday, June 11, 2021 from 3- 8 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road. (313) 278-5100. A Memorial Mass will follow at St. Constance Catholic Church, 21555 Kinyon, Taylor on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Alcoholic Anonymous in Vicki's honor.
