We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2023, at the age of 73, James Thomas Morris Jr. of Saint Petersburg, Florida, born in Springfield, Tennessee passed away.
He was predeceased by : his parents, James Thomas Morris Sr. and Betty Martha Morris. He is survived by : his wife Linda Susan Morris; his son James John Morris; his grandchildren, Joshua, Alyssa and Ashlynn; his siblings, Gary Duke (Jonnie), Betty Jo Hague (Dallas), Linda Smith (Tim), Terry and Jack Morris; and his sisters-in-law, Denise Morris and Mary Morris. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jimmy Morris was always looking for a way to make you laugh. He told the funniest jokes. I met him in 6th grade at Salina. He was also Larry Hutchinson best friend. I think they both moved to Dearborn around the same time. He like me and Yvonne Malas never missed any of our class reunions. We would always sit at the same table with all our Salina friends just remembering all the good times we shared!!
