If you have some time on your hands on one of these warm sunny days why not enjoy a game on softball. The Foothill Lady Mustangs Softball Programs are getting better everyday. Coach Ron Cristian has his varsity team ready for another run at a CVC league Championship. You can catch Lady Mustangs(5-10) Varsity this week (March 9th & 10th) at the Napa Tournament in Napa.
Meanwhile, JV Head Coach Steve Burton has his young JV program moving in the right direction. Coming off a 1-16 season last year the young Mustangs are currently 4-11(1-3) with wins over E.Nicolas, Colusa, softball powerhouse Sheldon High of Elk Grove and West Campus. After a 8 game skid, expect the Lady Mustangs to put it together as they close out the season with a strong finnish.
You can catch both teams during a 4 game homestand March 14th vs Rio Linda, 16th vs W.Campus, 23rd vs Dixon and the 28th the JV (only) will host Antelope. All games start at 4:00 PM. A $2.00 gate fee will be charged. A small price to pay to see your school play great softball. Have fun and we'll see you there.
