About	Susan M. Zibung, 54, of Fond du Lac passed away July 13, 2009 peacefully from the arms of her loving family into the arms of her Lord following an inspiring and brave battle with ovarian cancer. She was born June 11, 1955 in Port Washington, a daughter to Dr. Willard and Dolores (Ebert) Henken. Susan graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School in 1973 and Moraine Park Technical College in 1993 with a degree in nursing. December 23, 1976 she married Donald Zibung in Fond du Lac. She was employed with the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, St. Ages Hospital-Radiation Oncology Department, Central Wisconsin Cancer Program, and most recently as a clinical research nurse at the Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. Susan spent most of her career devoted to aiding and supporting cancer patients. Upon her own diagnosis, Susan often collaborated with fellow patients and colleagues about the disease with the goal of continuing her career as a cancer survivor to encourage and best relate with her patients. She is a member of Hope Lutheran Church. Susan enjoyed spending time at the cabin, arts crafts, camping, church, traveling, cats, and laughing with family and friends. Moms pleasant and giving personality will be missed and her strength ever admired by all. Survivors include her husband Donald; two sons: Cory of Green Lake and Kyle of Plover; her parents Willard Bill and Dolores Henken of Fond du Lac; two brothers: Tom (JoAnne) Henken of Fond du Lac and Richard (Bobbi) Henken of Gainesville, FL; also by nieces, nephews, cherished co-workers, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents and her mother and father-in-law. Visitation will be held on Saturday July 18, 2009, 9:00 AM to the time of services at 12:00 Noon at Hope Lutheran Church, 260 Vincent St., Fond du Lac, WI 54935 Services will be at Hope Lutheran Church on Saturday at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Arthur Callies will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Burial of cremains will be in Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun, WI. Memorials would be greatly appreciated to the Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center, 2700 W Ninth Avenue, Suite 11, Oshkosh, WI 54904.
