About John R. Bebow, 62, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital. He was born February 27, 1955 in Fond du Lac, the son of Elmer and Virginia (Rogler) Bebow. John graduated from Goodrich High School Class of 1973. On September 24, 1977 he married Sandra J. Ballwanz at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. John worked for International Paper for 43 ½ years. He was a member of the NRA. John was an avid gun collector, loved going to gun shows, watching Jeopardy and was a history buff. Christmas was never complete without watching “A Christmas Story” countless times with the soft glow of electric sex in the window (leg lamp).
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; three sons, Bryan (Jen Mancebo) Bebow, Ben Bebow, and Brad Bebow; he loved his two grandkids, Alyson Bebow his peanut and Ashton Bebow his little buddy; one sister, Sandy (Mark Strohschine) Bebow. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Lorraine Ballwanz; two sisters-in-law, Karen (Mike) Boede and Lori (Paul) Obrecht; one brother-in-law, Robert (Debbie) Ballwanz; nieces, nephews, and his cat, Boo Kitty. He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Robert Ballwanz; and sister-in-law, Barb Ballwanz.
The visitation will be held from 3:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
The family extends a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Froedtert CVICU for the care and compassion given to John and his family the last 10 weeks.
