About	Doug Stanislaus, 63, of Sand Springs, died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Memorial service will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Myers & Smith Chapel with Elwin Collom, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, officiating. Air Force Honors will be rendered at this time. He was born December 7, 1953 in Missoula, Montana to Donna Franklin Stanislaus and Eugene Stanislaus. He married Gwen Brasell on July 21, 1974 in Denver City. Doug was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He relocated to Big Spring in 1971 while stationed at Webb AFB. He was a graduate of Howard College with an Associate’s Degree in Music. He served as Minister of Music and Midway Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Sand Springs. He was a corporate pilot. He was a member of E. 4th Street Baptist Church. Doug is survived by his wife Gwen Stanislaus of Sand Springs; one son: Brenden Stanislaus of Big Spring; two daughters: Kayla Cervantes and Krista Moran, both of Coahoma; his father: Eugene Stanislaus of Arkansas; two brothers: Mike Stanislaus of Washington and Steve Stanislaus of Georgia; one sister: Vickie Molina and husband Vince of Arkansas; eight grandchildren: Jaedan, Hana, Kobe, Kylie, Rylee, Maddie, Kinzlee and Lilly.
