KIA, Vietnam, along with his K9, Bootsie while serving his country as a Spec. 4 in the U.S. Army. His name is listed on the Washington D.C. Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall: Panel 26 East/Line 92. His name is also listed on the California Vietnam Verterans wall in Capital park. A statue of him and his dog are located near the Folsom City Library, on what use to be named Farley field. His name is listed on the Veterans Memorial rock in the Folsom City Park, as well as a street that was named in his honor, located off of Riley St. R.I.P.
