Yeah we lived in the projects as well. Can you believe we got robbed and my parent's thought their furniture that the robbers had in their hands as they were going into the elevator looked familiar. They had enough of Brooklyn, New York and moved to Queens New York where I drove my mother crazy with my older brother. We had some pets which consisted of birds, cats and a dog named Freddy. He was my best friend that cute poodle. I was the shy type in school and the teacher's had the nerve to complain to my mother that I was shy. So go figure you can't win. I started working when I was in high school in the co-op work study program. I loved it and hated it when my job let me go because they weren't able to accomodate me but I bounced back and worked for attorneys for almost my entire life. Flushing High Class of "86" I just love American Idol and Grey's Anatomy. I moved from NY to Florida and have been living down South for almost 5 YEARS now. It is not like NY the people are too slow compared to NY. I haven't made any Floridian friends. Maybe its just me because I am honest, sincere and give you my shirt off my back. I love Patrick Demsey he is my dream hunk that I would like to meet in real life and the guy from Nip Tuck Julian Mcmahon he is so hot he sizzles. I love Yanni he plays new age music mainly the piano. I love to meet new people on FB and I love to play YoVille. I think I have over 40 homes in that game. I also love to farm on Farmville. I enjoy Words With Friends I guess I'm hooked on those FB games. I love meeting people from all over the world. If you don't want to be my friend that isn't my problem. Nobody asked in the first place. I need to take it a day at a time and to live for today and we will see what tomorrow brings us. I love to have fun and laugh when the occasion calls it. I love to crack jokes to break the ice. I love to write poetry and short stories of everyday life. I just love my 2 boys Noah 10 and Evan 5 with all my heart. I thank God everyday for bringing them into my life. I would not trade them for the world. I just love being a mom the best job you can ever have. I was diagnosed with sarcoma cancer on March 2009 and I did all the research I can about this. I found out that this is a very rare cancer. I am so fortunate it is me and not my kids. That was one of my rough patches in my life. For a few months I had to wear an IVP in my arm pic line. I could not keep anything down food wise . sometimes I did not want to go on with my life. I wanted to end it all but I kept on going for my kids. I already had 5 surgeries and the tumor is still left because it is wrapped around the main artery. I just live my day and just think nothing is wrong with me. I don't think I have cancer so I just live my life like everybody else and don't want anybody to feel sorry for me.I am a fighter and won't succumb to my illness. Mercy is for the weak and I know this too shall pass with God on my side anything is possbile.. I admit I was a mess and this was one of my down times in my life. I dropped so much weight because when I was sick I had no desire to eat. I love my family with all my heart. They have been there for me in good and in bad times. I have a pet cockatiel Corky she is 20 years old. I will give you my shirt off my back and bend over backwards for you. I'm one of those people that would sacrifice myself to give you that chance to live. I recently became reborn christian on July 1, 2010. On this day I gave myself to God. Not just my heart but my whole body. I recently had my water baptism on August 18 2010. I did it for me because I was so lost and now I am found. Feel free to read any of my notes and you will see what I like to write. I pray maybe someday I will get noticed and get my work out there and maybe get published. For now continue to write for me and for those who want to care to listen to what I read. I have been getting out more these days with both of my son's in school. I recently gave up chocolate bars and cans of Pepsi. I do miss them but I have to do it for my own health. I have alpha 1 Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency (α1-antitrypsin deficiency, A1AD or simply Alpha-1) is a genetic disorder caused by defective production of alpha 1-antitrypsin (A1AT), leading to decreased A1AT activity in the blood and lungs, and deposition of excessive abnormal A1AT protein in liver cells.[1][2] There are several forms and degrees of deficiency, principally depending on whether the sufferer has one or two copies of the affected gene because it is an codominant trait. Severe A1AT deficiency causes panacinar emphysema or COPD in adult life in many people with the condition (especially if they are exposed to cigarette smoke), as well as various liver diseases in a minority of children and adults, and occasionally more unusual problems.[3] It is treated by avoidance of damaging inhalants, by intravenous infusions of the A1AT protein, by transplantation of the liver or lungs, and by a variety of other measures, but it usually produces some degree of disability and reduced life expectancy.[1] My kids were recently diagnosed as well but what are we going to do? Stop living? No we are fighters and will see though it. I don't dr...(read more)
