Favorite School Memory	I have so many great memories from school, particularly in band. The biggest impact would be my Senior year in Marching Band, and the trip to the National Championships in Florida.
About Me	Lots of schooling. Received my undergraduate degree in Cell & Molecular Biology, worked for 5 years doing cancer research, went to graduate school at Wayne State (PhD in Cancer Biology), post-doc position at Emory University, to my present faculty position at the University of Florida. All the while, I played in a number of groups (professional and amateur) playing my trombone (classical, jazz, big-band swing, funk-jazz, orchestral...).
