Rod showed his talent for writing as young student at Kellam. He served as SCA President as a senior and rose above the racial barriers of the 60's. Later, Rod traveled the world writing, meetings writers and collecting lifelong friends worldwide. He published two books. He started one of the first online newspapers in the early 90's, still online today. He was a gifted man who left this world too soon.
