| About Me | I joined the U.S. Navy right out of high school in Oct. 1985. After attending the U.S. Navy School for training in Diesel Engine & Aux. Equip repair in Great Lakes, ILL., I was stationed to a floating dry-dock in San Diego, CA for my entire 4 yr. tour of duty - where we dry-docked nuclear submarines. In 1990, I returned to live in Denver working in various positions for a mechanical contractor until the end of 1991. In 1992, I stumbled into starting my early career in procurement/purchasing by accident when asked to temporarily fill in for a fellow collegue - I found my negotiating niche. Then in 1995, I relocated to Seattle, WA. working as a Logistics Coordinator for a start up medical wound care manufacturer for about 3 1/2 years before returning back to Denver, CO. in late 1998. I currently still reside in Denver, CO. in 2010 and work as a Buyer for an electrical distributor. I also bartend part-time @ the infamous Fillmore Auditorium - where I get to constantly expand my liking of music genre, seeing lots of great bands perform.
