About Me	After graduation I went to Voorhees Institute in NY the worked on the First Moon Project at Grumman Aircraft until I graduated the Nassau County Police Academy. Worked on long Island as a Cop until my brother Dennis Passed and moved to Florida as a Police Officer. I loved my job and retired from the Broward County Sheriff's Office as a Captain and District Chief. I figured after 50 years as a Law Enforcement Officer I was proud of my accomplishments working every aspect of Law Enforcement I could and was proud of my accomplishments. I lived by a saying that I made up which was "Never forget where you came from or how you came to be where you are today. For it is seldom one mans' journey but a team that gets him to the final destination." I feel Floral Park Memorial HS has been a part of that team and I thank my teachers friends and family for what I have become. I became a Police Officer because I wanted to help people and if I could save one life it all would be all worth it I think I did that. I loved every minute of my job and was one of the most active officers and wore my accomplishments proudly. I am married for over 39 years to a lovely lady who is a Nurse Practitioner working with people inflicted with cancer.On the day my wife and I moved in to our new home in Naples she fell and we later discovered she had a brain tumor. She was operated on Aug 6, 2020 and after a galant fight she passed away 7 months later and passed on March 10 2021. we were together for 43 years and married as soul mates for 4...(read more)
