| Favorite School Memory | I have so many fun memories from high school. Wearing a toga for my AP English class and then continuing to wear it all that cold January day is one on the list. |
| About Me | I published a book of poetry the year after high school and sold nearly 1000 copies. I spent a year going regularly to Native American sweat lodge ceremonies and began learning from a Buddhist teacher. I then started practicing daily meditation and fasting. After spending a summer in Israel getting in touch with my Jewish heritage, I realized I really wanted to find out more about what it meant to me to be Jewish. I studied for the next four years in a Rabbinic college, and have since been involved with leading a congregation for Jewish holidays. I've been a music and English teacher for six years, and had the chance to direct a choir for Hannukah one year. I started a business in backpacking tours three summers ago. I'm somewhat conversational in Modern Hebrew and can translate Biblical Hebrew. Now I'm working on French (my wifes mother tongue). I've had the chance to traveled every summer since high school.
