Kit was born on April 22, 1956 in Tucson, AZ to the late Larry Edward and Elizabeth Smith Mills. He was a graduate of Flagstaff High School in Flagstaff, AZ. He was a talented construction superintendent who built multi-family homes all over the country.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Kathryn Mills of St. Louis, MO, Karen Ruth Mills Reid (Stet) of San Antonio, TX, and Elizabeth Ann (Kim) Mills of Jackson, TN. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Buddy.
In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and spread over a fishing lake in Alpena, Michigan by his dear friend, Mark Corthial.
