While in the Coast Guard, I was coming back from the North Pole when we ran into the tail end of a hurricane ( was on an ice breaker, the CGC Eastwind) when I saw one of my ship mates about to climb over the main deck rail. I jumped up and ran to grab him from jumping overboard and when I made contact with him, my 1961 class ring flew off my finger into the icy deep. This took place in 1965-66 and never believed I'd ever have an opportunity to receive another one. If there is any possibility of having a replacement---please contact me at;

PS: By the way, I have never received any word on my class reunion. Is that a possibility also?? I went to the first reunion when I was married to Faye Martin (Bradford) but after she passed away, everything stopped with any communication.

Greetings from California! My son found this class ring a few year's ago here in California. We are hoping to find the family to whom it belongs to as it's original owner would be almost 100 years old! It's from Fitchburg High School class of 1937. Initials inscribed are JH. Thanks!
