Allan died July 8, 2009 in Seabrook, NH. He was born Mach 20, 1944. Recieved his Bachelor of Music Degree from Boston University and a Masters of Music Education from Lowell State. He taught at Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland and performed on Finnish radio. Allan taught instrumental music in the Andover schools for 34 years, retiring 2003. He was an exceptional trumpet player and singer, but also played classical guitar. He was also a lute player.
