| About Me | Married and worked in this area for a few years. had the oppurtunity to attend a votech school in fl. and obtained my LPN license. worked in a few speciallity areas but have found my calling working with the geriatric population as charge nurse ( and queen of all) in a dedicated alzheimer's /dementia unit in westerly. never thought it was my calling but when i was 1st out of nursing school they called it organic brain syndrome and had no facility's specializing in the care of people with this diagonis. and take heed,it is one of the fastest growing diagnosis of our generation. and for all of you who have or are taking care of your parents, YOU KNOW what i mean. i absolutely lov...(read more) |
