The Friday night venue has been found! It will be an impromptu gathering for any and all who wish to come....and hoping everyone who is coming to the Saturday night event will try to join us for the Friday night gathering! It's about a mile from the Va. Beach Resort & Conference Center. The name of the place is called "Simple Eats". Their food is fresh, mostly local and delicious. I believe they will have plenty of room for all of us even if we are "close" …..nothing like being warm and fuzzy the first night, right? They do have a website and you can peruse their menu if you feel like you'd like to have dinner there. The owner Sandy Schmidtmann is a great gal and is willing to host us until about 9:30 p.m. or 10 p.m.....so it won't be a late night ….You'll still be able to sleep in the next morning and be up in time to have an early lunch and come see (and help if you so desire) your committee decorating! Come for dinner and stay or drop in and stay....whichever suits you works for us too! Forty-six days until our 50th High School Class Reunion! I'm getting pumped!
