About Me Raising my family one hilarious situation after another... I've come full circle and finally found what I've spent the first half of my life looking for. My beautiful wife and I have moved back to my hometown after 23 years and have found it's a very good fit for all of us! Couldn't be happier with our decision! I'm still chasing people around nursing homes and/or their own house for a living which has limited appeal to most but it pays the bills and every once in awhile I get to have a positive affect on an appreciative patient's life. Monica is a stay at home mom and is busier now than when she was working full time. She is doing some babysitting, selling Willow House and running kids all over town on a daily basis. I've given up trying to coach Hunter in baseball because he's too old and too good to listen to dad anymore. Watching from the stands and keeping my mouth shut is often a challenge but it teaches me patience. He will play for the Grand Island Jr Islanders again this year during Spring and on weekends and also for the Geneva team during the week in early summer. He played QB and LB for the Panthers this season as a freshman, mostly on JV but also got some snaps in some varsity games. He is out for basketball, starting on the freshman team and getting some playing time on the JVs, as well. He is almost 6'0" tall and this will be the last Christmas he is shorter than dad. Hopefully, he will parlay his size into his goal of playing sports in college. (Just have to figure out which sport.) He has a girlfreind (somedays) that lives across the street. He hangs out with her and his friends, either in person or via text/PS3/chatting pretty much every waking minute! Someday we will actually get to see and talk to him again... Sydney's in 3rd grade now and she is a very kind-hearted, fun-loving young lady! All of her teachers say she's very enjoyable and she likes school. She is very good with her younger siblings and does a good job babysitting for short periods of time when mom is running errands close to home. She plays soccer, basketball and volleyball. She's going to be tall, just not too sure she's going to be coachable (she gets that from her mother). The two little ones are the apple of daddy's eyes and the best part of each day. Kennedy is 4 years old and in her 2nd year of pre-school this year and is starting to read. She goes 5 days a week this year and her teacher brags on her leadership abilities and her love for learning. She is definitely going to be ready for all day Kindergarten next year. She loves to dance, play "house" and laughter is a staple for her daily. She tries my patience when she doesn't get her way but she has a very pure heart and she is a joy and a blessing to me daily. Kashton is a very energetic and active 3 year old. He goes to pre-school with his sister 2 days a week and is learning his numbers and letters. He can count to 20 and then he gets stuck. He LOVES puzzles, watching his shows and playing games on the computer. He seems to have a zest for life and is non-stop motion during all waking hours. He has his daddy's temper and stubborn streak. I suppose I deserve all the trying times that are surely ahead with this one. But I look forward to them all. I feel blessed beyond anything I had ever imagined to have this incredible family. I continue to try to hold ...(read more)
