About Me	Seems I have always been "David Rains wife" through his 29 years as a Naval Aviator. My job was to manage the household through some 15 or more moves and to "keep the home fires burning" during his several deployments ranging from 1 month to 7 months. Being a volunteeer at heart I enjoyed volunteering for the Red Cross, Navy Relief, Cub Scougs, Girl Scouts, teaching Sunday Scjhool and whatever else anyone asked. My hand always flew up like it was on a spring. I guess I could be called a "professional volunteer" After delivering Meals-on-wheels for more than 25 years while also teaching a young adult Sunday School class and driving the Methhodist Village Van to take residents on whatever errands they needed to do on a given day.I'm involuntarly retired now. I enjoy keeping up with pictures of my grand children and great grans on Facebook---and with the activities of my friends from my former SS class. As of April 22,2012, I became David Rains widow.
