Hey Class of '74 mates. The Ferris Class of '74 50-Year Reunion is shaping up, under the able leadership of Megan Gorman and her reunion committees. The reunion kicks off June 21, 6 pm at The Union Tavern at 1914 E. Sprague Ave, owned by classmates Dale Kleist and Ann Carlburg. On June 22, Ferris will host a tour of the "new" Ferris High School Building around midday. From 4:30-8:30 pm our reunion activities will resume at The Center Place, 2226 N. Discovery Place in Spokane Valley, for happy hour, dinner, music and a short program, leaving time for you to share an evening out with your closest high school mates afterward. We are trying our best to create a new, updated list of our classmates with contact info for each so that we can keep everyone updated on reunion progress. HOTEL RESERVATIONS
If you want to stay at a nearby hotel in downtown Spokane. We’ve set-up a discount at the Best Western, 33 W. Spokane Falls, Boulevard; 509-623-9727. Call and tell them you are with the Ferris High School Class of 1978.
Also, the New Davenport “Grand” Hotel has good rates; they are on 333 W. Spokane Falls Blvd. 509-458-3330.
Both hotels are located just a few blocks away from our reunion. There are many other choices within an Uber ride of downtown with varying rates.

Saturday Golf at Hangman Valley Golf Course:
In honor those legendary Saxon golf teams, we've reserved a block of 8 tee times late Saturday morning. The first tee time is 10:06AM, and the last is at 11:06AM. Please call the course directly at (509) 448-1212 to reserve an individual, or foursome tee time. Just tell them you're with the Joel E. Ferris Class of 1977 block of tee times. First come, first served until all the spots are taken.

You probably already know that Spokane is loaded with wonderful and traffic-free bike trails. Tighe Smith is interested in setting up a group bike ride. Let us know at this webpage if you'd be interested in participating in a group ride.
SUNDAY Concert Series at Arbor Crest Winery in Spokane Valley:
If you're planning to stay in Spokane an extra day or two, this might be of interest. You can bring your own picnic & lawn chairs, buy the local wine at the venue, and listen to some tunes at a pretty cool cliff side location with a sunset view. Here is their website:
