Chentelles inducted into MRRL H.O.F.

The Chentelles received 101 votes and came in second place in the voting for the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends H.O.F. and we were inducted as of midnight 6/1/14. We even beat out a Detroit group who ONLY came in 4th. Thank you ALL VERY MUCH present and past students who voted for us and especially Principal Greydonus for all of his help and support. All of The Chentelles have been working with and have or will be interviewed by the editor Virginia for an article coming out in the Allegan County News the week of 6/9/14. The piece on us on the MRRL site may take a few months and I will try to put another posting up here when it is complete. It is totally amazing after 47-1/2 years since we recorded Be My Queen at Fenton Records in Sparta that The Chentelles are still making history and still rockin'.!!! Both of the songs on our 45 are on youtube, just do a websearch for Be My Queen/Chentelles or Time/Chentelles on youtube to hear. Mark Adams-bass player and co-writer of Be My Queen.

Chentelles looking for votes for MRRLs H.O.F.

The Chentelles, formed in 1966 by F.H.S. students, are nominated for the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends H.O.F. for 2014 and are asking ALL current and former F.H.S. students to cast a vote for us so we can be in the top 5 vote getters by midnight 6/1/14 which will get us inducted. Presently (as of 5/5) we are in 3rd place by 24 votes with 70. If we could get possibly 50 more votes, I think we will get in. Thanks to ALL for your support on this.
