About Me	Married college sweetheart Toni Morgan - from West Plains Missouri. After college and grad school, worked for 10 years in the Environmental Sciences Division at Oak Ridge National Lab. Our children, Erin (1988) and Lydia (1992) were born in Oak Ridge. After being laid off there (it happens), got a job as Lakes Manager for Highlands County Florida, where Toni and I lived for 21 years, also working as adjunct faculty in Natural Sciences at South Florida State College in Avon Park Florida. As far as my work in Florida, I was involved in all aspects of natural resources and watershed management in Highlands County from recovery from Hurricane Irma to management of environmental restoration projects to education. I work with a wide variety of local governments, regional, state and federal agencies, often on acquisition and management of grant funds. In 2017, after much prayer, evaluation of our prospects and our commitments to our parents, we made the not too difficult decision to quit our jobs in Florida (Toni is a certified teacher and taught for 21 years at Heartland Christian School in Sebring) to move back to the Ozarks to be near and help care for our parents.
