Class of 1975

I moved to Lincoln, NE 1 week after graduating with the idea of attending the Univ of Nebr. After arriving in Lincoln a relative suggested that I apply at the phone company instead and 34 yrs later I retired from my dream job.

Outside of work my passion has always been coaching baseball. I'm very proud of the fact that I'm president of the largest select baseball organization in Lincoln. Several of my players have gone on to play college baseball and even participated in the college World Series. This year one of my players was selected to play for the USA national team that won the Gold medal in Taipei. He was also the MVP in the USA All-Star game. Teams that I've coached have won 3 State Championships and a World Series.

Teaching my boys the skills and mechanics is very rewarding but the relationships I've developed with the boys over the years is absolutely priceless.

So retired, yes, but still living the dream coaching.
