Favorite School Memory	The sheer size of the school! I moved from Chicago in the middle of my Freshman year where my graduating class would have been 11 people to FHS. What a change!!
About Me	College didn't work for me right after high school so I eventually ended up in the Army, met my husband, traveled the world and ended up in Maryland. I was discharged from the Army due to a severe knee injury so we moved to Springfield OH, where my husband is from. It is a great place to raise our two kids. College seemed doable so, finally, I went back and earned my bachelors degree in education and taught for a few years. While continuing to teach I went back and earned a masters degree in Library Media and was a school Library Media Specialist for a few more years until the school I was consolidated with another school, and my position was eliminated. I went back to teaching in the same district and am now starting down the PhD route focusing on the capabilities of technology to effect literacy in the middle school content areas. My husband is still in the Army, our oldest girl Erin graduated from Wittenberg University and is now living in GA working at an advertising agency and our youngest son, Bear, will be starting college at Ohio State University in two weeks!!
