| About Me | My life after FHS I attended Eastern Michigan University for one year, then transfered to Michigan State University where I earned a BA Art, Education and Sociology 1969. While there I met husband #1, Ross Behm. We married after graduation and relocated to Tucson Arizona where we literally built a house in the foothills. Our son Brad was born 1974. We separated after twelve years but continue to be friendly and share grandsons Teagan and Rayston who live in ShowLo, AZ. I met husband #2 Ken Kucinski, a fellow Spartan, on Mt Lemmon, all because I was wearing an MSU tshirt. Together we founded the Michigan State Alumni Club of Tucson. Ken was a radio talent and also Chair of the Michael Landon Celebrity Tennis Tournament. Tragically, both Ken and Michael were diagnosed with the same pancreatic cancer on the same day. Ken passed just before his 42nd birthday. I grieved heavily for two years and then went on a Windjammer Barefoot Cruise from Granada where I met husband #3, Jim Simonds. I moved to Upstate NY where he lived and continued my ten year career with Equifax. During that time I became a Wish Grantor for Make-A-Wish that was so incedibly rewarding. In 2000 I started my 15 year career with General Electronic at the steam turban plant, Schenectady, NY as Proposal Manager for after market testing of turbines and generators worldwide. I had no idea what that was but was hired for my proposal writng skills that Equifax prepared me for. Jim and I divorced, but remain friends. I retired from GE 2015 and left that God forsaken cold climent to return to my beautiful sunny Tucson where I bought my casita in a historic community and live with my cat Sherbet. No more men for me! When I returned, the alumni club I created with Ken was almost dead, so I revived it and was President for seven years until I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2023. I am still active with Tucson Spartans as Treasurer and the SoAz Big Ten Conference Club of Tucson. Together we host an annual fundraiser for SoAz Big Brothers Big Sisters.
