Ken was the James Dean type. Rode a BSA Lightening to school. I always thought of him as "cool". We were lab partners in chemistry. He was really intelligent and a very nice guy. After graduation he joined the Army and became a Cobra gunship pilot. I'll bet he was a great pilot. He was sent to Vietnam. Three months into his tour, he was flight testing his ship after it was repaired. He lost a rotor and crashed. He was killed. I found out about him shortly after I arrived in Vietnam. Ed Blackwell
