| About | A real nice guy. An accountant by trade. His father was some type of electrician who fixed my doorbell when I was living at 2545 Bessemund Ave., Far Rockaway. Harold's death was premature. Not sure how it happened. I'm speculating, but he was recently married at the time of his death. Getting married has resulted in the pre-mature deaths of Donald Keats, Jackie Shneiderman . Hmmm. Harold lived on the other side of town. I don't remember the street, but it was the part of Far Rockaway near Lawrence. I lived in Bayswater at the time. Other people in our circle was Steven Keats, Melvin Silverman, Marc Brown, etc .A common enemy was Johnny Hendrickson, he didn't fit in.

I met Harol Perlowon the basketball court on a basketball court behind the Far Rockaway Post Office. It was a place to hangout; I don't remember him playing, & I don't remember playing much I'm pretty sure Peter Kadamoff was there also. Peter was the reason most of us showed up. Peter was the magnet most of us showed up. Also, part of that gang was Andrew MacRides, Howard Lerner, & Harvey Umlas. Harvbey died in 1999. His sister died earlier. I don't know what happened to his brother Bruce. We used to gamble in Harvey's basement. Harvey's father was in the Habidashary bizniz Harvey later worked in his fathers store, I be4lieve in Manhattan. He once commented to me how stupid some customers were when they didn't respond items on sale.Harold was a loner, but a quiet, & nice guy.-------Nomeste'
