About Me	After graduating from UWEC I moved with my family to beautiful Door County, Wisconsin. I discovered that I truly love being a dad, a teacher and a resident on Wisconsinâ€™s peninsula. I pursued a master's graduating in 1994. I have traveled extensively throughout the state serving on the Bayland Uniserv board, and various WEAC committees, and attended three NEA RA'sâ€¦ After my oldest daughter spent a year exchange in Finland we returned in 2005 to visit our hosts, friends and relatives in our respective countries. We purposely planned connecting flights through London to do a little sight seeing. This happened to be only a few days after the subway terrorist bombing. We experience seeing armed solders on every corner in downtown London and were forced to find alternative transportation on Double Decker busses and a Bobbie. This was truly an adventure with our luggage in tow. ( I digress.) This past summer Kathy and I with five of our children drove to Big Sky, Montana to visit our oldest son. We spent a few days camping in Yellowstone which is only 40 miles from Big Sky. We had a great time as well getting reacquainted with South Dakota and Wyoming on our way out and back.
