About Me	Immediately after high school I went to UNA. Throughout my time at UNA I was Marching, Concert, and Wind Ensemble Section Leader; President and Vice President of Tau Beta Sigma; Southeast District Vice-President of Tau Beta Sigma; and student taught at Central High School in Florence, Alabama. Upon graduation in December 1998 I taught middle school band at Andalusia Middle School in Andalusia, Alabama and then moved to Danville, Alabama where I taught beginning, middle, and high School band for a combined 4 years. I married Rodney Brown (2nd Lt. in the Army) in 1999 and in March of 2002 we had a beautiful girl: Kira MaiLien Brown. After Kira's birth we lived at Ft. Campbell, KY where I taught high school band at Northeast High School. Rodney was deployed to Iraq during most of this time. Upon his return he became Inactive Ready Reserve (IRR) and we moved to Danville, Virginia where we stayed 3 years. I taught at Abundant Life Christian Academy throughout our stay there. Our last destination after Rodney's contract ended in Virginia was Panama City Beach. Kira began Kindergarten in P.C.B and I began working at Gulf World Marine Park as the Educational Programs Coordinator. Rodney and I divorced in June 2009.
