About	Funeral services for Forrest "Mickey" Barks, 60, of Fairport Harbor, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 325 Sixth St., Fairport Harbor. Mr. Barks died May 16, 2008, at LakeEast Hospital in Painesville. He was born in Painesville March 31, 1948. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and graduated from Fairport Harding High School in 1966. Mr. Barks was employed by the Mentor Public School System as a custodian. He was a talented self taught artist, painting in water colors, oils and pastels and was also a musician, playing his guitar in several groups, including the band "After Six". Survivors are his wife, Sandra (Shaw) Barks; brothers, Gary (Janice) and Bruce (Helen) Barks, both of Fairport Harbor; nephews, Christopher Barks and Justin (Ashley) Barks; nieces, Heather (Todd) Chase and Elizabeth Downing; uncle, Donald Mackey; and aunt, Aileen Maki. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Fanny Barks and nephew, Joshua Barks. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Potti Funeral Home, 538 Fifth St., Fairport Harbor and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Daniel Skillman, will officiate services. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Donations in his honor may be made to the family.
