Mr. Cogar died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2001 in Painesville. He lived a simple life, he enjoyed music, fishing and working on cars and puzzles. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam era. Survivors are his children, Jennifer (Robert) Gladding of Mentor, Adam Cogar of Mentor and Allan Cogar of Painesville; his mother, Velma L. (Modesitt) of Mentor; grandson, Nicholas Gladding; brother Michael Cogar of Idaho; sisters, Ella (Jim Russell of Mentor on the Lake, Doris (Terry) Palinkas of Painesville and Linda (James Hull of Jane Lew, West Virginia. His father Noah and infant son, Scott are deceased.
