About	Funeral services for Tyyne E. Makee, 100, of Fairport Harbor, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Zion Lutheran Church, 508 Eagle St., Fairport Harbor. Mrs. Makee passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at the Mentor Way Care in Mentor. She was born Aug. 4, 1909, in Fairport Harbor. She was a graduate of Harding High, graduating in 1928, and was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 17 years. She was also a member of the Fairport Historical Society, Ladies of Kaleva Lodge, Painesville Women's Choice and Christian Women's Club of Lake County. She traveled numerous times to Europe and Africa and was active in the Girl Scouts, Sea Scouts and Cub Scouts. Mrs. Makee was a bookkeeper for the Diamond Shamrock Corp. and she worked at Clarks Bakery in Fairport Harbor. Survivors are her son, Walter (Nancy) of Fairport Harbor; daughter, Carole Wyman of Jackson, Miss.; grandsons, Guy Wyman and Ronald Makee; and great-grandchildren, Blakeney, Andrew and Hanna. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sol, in 1952; son, Frederick; and numerous brothers and sisters. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. The Rev. Hannu Vepsalainen will officiate services. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The Potti Funeral Home of Fairport Harbor is handling the arrangements
